Brewing Instructions
- Prepare the Water
Fill a 4–5 gallon bucket with non-chlorinated water. -
Add the Manure
Put 2 cups of llama manure into the mesh bag provided in the kit or the reusable stainless steel filter/strainer (which we highly recommend). -
Agitate the Bag
Submerge and massage the bag to help release nutrients and beneficial microbes. - The mesh bag has an elastic bag that will stretch over the top of the bucket.
Steep
- Let the tea brew for 24–48 hours. Stir occasionally, or use an aquarium style air pump to increase oxygen and microbial activity.
- Remove the Mesh Brew Bag
After steeping, take out the bag and squeeze to extract remaining liquid. - The Brew Bag is designed to be cleaned and reused after each brewing.
- One you try Montana Llama, consider upgrading to the reusable stainless strainer makes the entire process seemless and easy
Use Immediately
- Apply the tea right away for maximum microbial benefit.
How to Use
- Root Drench: Water plants at the base 1–2 times per week.
- Foliage Spray: Strain thoroughly and spray onto leaves.
- Suitable for vegetables, flowers, trees, shrubs, and houseplants.
Tips for Best Results
- Do not steep longer than 3 days—it may go anaerobic.
NOTE: Always clean your bucket and tools after each use to prevent biofilm buildup.
